My name is Jennie Dalgas and I am the Owner (founder) and Executive Director for Wonders. Our program began in 2009 as a Certified Home Care and became a Certified Center in 2014. I have been married to my husband, Geoffrey, for 14 years and we have two children- Caleb is 11 and Jeliya is 9.
I graduated from Metropolitan State College of Denver in 2007 with a BA in English and Elementary Education. I have been working in ECE since 1999 and found this precious age to be my passion. I would like to pursue a Masters in ECE someday.I also have a passion for Birth Work and began my journey as a Birth Doula in 2015. And in 2019, I became an Executive Consultant with Rodan+Fields, just for one more thing to keep me busy. In my free time, I enjoy being active and creative. I enjoy dance, rock climbing, camping, traveling, and riding bikes with my family.
Hi everyone, I’m Jennifer! I’m the Director at Wonders Early Learning Center. I just recently stepped back in as the primary teacher for Pre-K and I’m also on the Board of Directors. I have been at Wonders since September 2014. I have my Bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies and have always loved teaching Pre-K.
My son, Elijah, is two and in our Ladybug class. My husband, Dan, is the Sous Chef at del Alma. Family is important to me! In our free time, we love going on adventures. We love hiking, the beach, camping, and traveling.
I love early childhood education and strongly believe these early years are so important!
For those of you who don’t know me and I hope you all do, my name is Ms. Heather. I have been at Wonders since 2016 and I have played many roles- Preschool Teacher, Pre-K Teacher, Sub Director and Administrative Assistant. Outside of Wonders, I am the lucky mom of two strong spirited girls, Minnie and Elisia, who I absolutely adore (even though they drive me bonkers sometimes). I also play wife to Jason who I’ve been with for a lifetime. I love my family beyond words. I also love all of the kids at Wonders and strive to go above and beyond for them every day. I try to teach them kindness, patience, and the love of creativity on a daily basis. I also have a passion for health and fitness, writing, reading, animals and coffee. If you don’t see me without my coffee cup in hand, it’s because I forgot where I put it while helping one of your kiddos. I’m always happy to chat with you, so please stop by to say hi!
Hello my name is Holly Fisher!
I currently serve as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Wonders. My husband Tony and I have three kids and our angel baby. Our daughter Lexi was one of the first kiddos at Wonders when Ms. Jennie opened six years ago, and now our youngest son Terry has been there for 3 years and paved the way as the first infant in their program.
Between my husband and I, we own Ken Fisher Repair, Pacific Payroll, Iron Eagle Metal Art and I run a R+F skincare business that we have the privilege of working from “home” without the commute. I have a passion for numbers, helping businesses grow and be successful and giving back to our community.
I am Jessie Munster, and I am the secretary for the Wonders INC Board of Directors. My husband, Jon, and I own Munster & Company, an online antiquarian bookshop based here in Corvallis. When I’m not selling books I love to spend time outside with my family, working in the garden, playing in the dirt, and going for walks. We have two kids at Wonders. Our oldest is in the Pre K class and our youngest is in the Toddler room. This morning as our youngest got out of the car he said “friends” and ran to the door (after getting safely to the sidewalk). Both our kids love going to Wonders. They are learning so much, not just about letters, numbers, and colors, but also how to be good friends and helpers. I joined the Board of Directors because I believe the work Wonders does teaching our little people is vital, and the way they do it helps them grow into really good people too.
Hello! My name is Ms. Katie and I am the Infant teacher here at Wonders. I have been here for 2.5 years! My 3 year old son, Calvin, also attends Wonders in the Preschool 1 class. He started in my very own classroom when he was just 9 months old. You will often see me around the school with a baby in each arm like pictured 😊 I have my BS in Human Development and Family Sciences with a minor in Psychology from OSU. I love watching the little ones grow up and it is an honor to celebrate alongside the new parents all the excitement, challenges, and milestones of the 1st year. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my son and being active. In a past life I enjoyed hot yoga, crossfit, and playing the violin. Thank you for trusting me with your precious children! They are so loved! ❤
